Mesa is now home to two MLB Cactus League teams during spring training.
The Chicago Cubs return to their spring training home at Mesa Riverview. Formerly known as Cubs Park, Sloan Park will once again be the home of the Cubs this month.
2015 also brings back the Oakland A’s to Hohokam Stadium. The A’s were the original residents of Hohokam in 1977 when it was built, and 37 years later they are returning after the renovation of the stadium.
Spring Training is a huge draw to Arizona, with tourists coming specifically for baseball games, as well as joining us for our great weather.
In addition to the games in Mesa, there are over 200 games played throughout the month, with nearly 1.7 million fans in attendance.
