If you are looking for holiday gifts at bargain prices, the City of Mesa offers surplus sales every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon at the City of Mesa Warehouse, 7041 E. Adobe.

While there are no special sales, prices have been greatly reduced on a wide variety of merchandise. Holiday items include bicycles; new clothing; character cake pans including Big Bird, Elmo and Winnie the Pooh; new and used video game systems and accessories; file cabinets; chairs and tools. There are also several unique items for sale such as traffic signals.

Merchandise at the sales consists of surplus items from various City departments, unclaimed police evidence and asset forfeiture items. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or check/debit card with photo identification. All sales are final without warranty or guarantee of any kind and there are no refunds. There are City items also available for sale on eBay and PublicSurplus.com.

Proceeds from the surplus sales, sales from the PublicSurplus.com government surplus website and eBay sales benefit the City of Mesa General Fund.

For more information, visit www.mesaaz.gov/surplussales or call (480) 644-2686.
