A new grocery option is arriving in Southeast Mesa as Sprouts Farmers Market prepares to open its newest location at EastMarket at Eastmark.

The 23,299-square-foot Sprouts is scheduled to open Friday, September 18, at 5131 S. Ellsworth Road, near the northeast corner of Ellsworth and Ray roads. The store will be Sprouts’ new Mesa-Ellsworth location.
Sprouts has announced a 6:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting on opening day, with doors opening at 7 a.m. The grand-opening weekend will include giveaways, product samples and other activities. The first 200 shoppers on Friday will receive a free reusable tote, while the first 400 customers will receive a long-stem rose.
New Grocery Anchor for EastMarket
The new Sprouts is part of EastMarket at Eastmark, a 6.6-acre lifestyle shopping center developed by Common Bond Development Group.

The center is designed to bring more everyday shopping, dining, health and wellness services and other businesses to the growing Eastmark community. Common Bond recently announced that the development is complete as Sprouts and other businesses prepare to open.
The opening adds another major retail destination to an area of Southeast Mesa that has continued to see residential and commercial growth.
What Shoppers Can Expect
Sprouts focuses on fresh produce and a selection of natural, organic and specialty grocery products. The company describes its stores as offering fresh produce alongside products for a variety of dietary preferences and lifestyles.
The Mesa-Ellsworth location will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to Sprouts. The company is also offering a 20% discount during the grand-opening weekend for customers who join Sprouts Rewards, subject to the promotion’s terms and a $20 maximum discount.
Sprouts also says the new location will participate in its Food Rescue program, donating edible groceries that are no longer suitable for sale to the United Food Bank. The store will work with local and regional farmers, including Blue Sky Organic Farms and Duncan Family Farms, for local produce.
More Retail Coming to Eastmark
Sprouts is joining more than 25,000 square feet of additional retail space at EastMarket, which includes a mix of restaurants, personal-care businesses, health and wellness providers and other customer-focused services.
The new shopping center is another addition to Eastmark’s growing list of amenities and commercial services, giving nearby residents more options closer to home.
With Sprouts opening September 18, Eastmark is adding another major retail anchor as Southeast Mesa continues to expand.
