Mesa is hosting three Citizen Innovator Forums in November. The virtual and in-person public engagement events will allow the City to incorporate public input into the next Smart Mesa Today strategic plan phase. The meetings will cover the role technology plays in different city issues such as equity, connectivity, public safety, homelessness, public health, education, transportation and the environment, to name a few.
“Our Smart City approach looks to leverage the latest technology and data-driven insights to improve the quality of life of our residents,” said Travis Cutright, Chief Information Officer for the City of Mesa. “When we developed our Smart City Plan in 2018, we identified seven pillars or focus areas. Since then, technology and our world have changed dramatically, and we want to ensure that our strategic priorities align with those of our residents.”
The Citizen Innovator Workshops start tomorrow with a virtual meeting.
- November 4 (Virtual Meeting) 6 – 8 p.m.
- November 15 Neighborhood Comedy Theater 7 – 8:30 p.m.
