In addition to the new offerings that will be launching in 85209 and 85212 with Aldi and Angie’s Lobster, local residents will soon be able to enjoy a wider range of foodservice offerings close to home.
Whataburger
The Texas hamburger chain is growing in Arizona and has two new resturants slated for Southeast Mesa with one at Signal Butte and Hampton and the other just south of Ray and Power. The Ray and Power location is much earlier and the planning stages, with the Signal Butte location in building and construction plan review with the City.
Dutch Bros
Dutch Bros is also growing quickly. Having recently opened their location at Signal Butte and Guadalupe next to the new Aldi, they are in full swing and opening a new location at 1448 S Crismon, just north of the US 60, and also in the planning process for another location near Whataburger south of Ray on Power Rd. The Oregon-based company is quite popular with teens and young adults and has a reputation for fundraisers and community involvement.
Black Rock Coffee
Dutch Bros isn’t the only coffee chain on a growth spurt. With locations in seven states, Black Rock has been growing steadily in Arizona. With locations at Crismon and Baseline and Power and Ray, they are planning ot open two more locations at Signal Butte and Hampton and Ray and Ellsworth. Black Rock also has a strong reputation for community involvement.
Chipotle and Burger King
Residents near Ray and Ellsworth have other choices on the way as well, including Chipotle and Burger King, all joining Black Rock Coffee on the southeast corner of Ellsworth and Ray between Ray and Cadence Parkway along with QuikTrip.
Salad and Go
The popular Arizona-based drive-thru salad chain is adding another location at Crismon and Southern. They recently opened a drive-thru at Signal Butte and Guadalupe. Salad and Go regularly donates large quantities of salads to food banks such as United Food Bank.
