Arts at the Center (grant applications) – Mesa Arts Center Foundation’s “Arts at the Centeropens the second round of grant applications for the 2021-22 season – deadline to apply is Sept. 1. The grants support educational and non-profit organizations by providing for the use of Mesa Arts Center spaces, including its beautiful world-class theaters. Up to six grant recipients are chosen each year to receive rent-free use of a MAC theater or other space to present a performance or activity. Mesa Arts Center Fall art studio classes on sale now – Over 200 adult and youth fall classes are available in a wide range of mediums, including ceramics, photography, metal sculpture, welding, blacksmithing, jewelry, glass, painting/drawing, printmaking, theater and movement. Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum’s Fall 2021 Exhibitions open Sept. 10 – Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is excited to announce the fall 2021 exhibitions, featuring major solo and group displays by internationally renowned visionary art leaders. Mesa Arts Center’s Season Kickoff: Wonderland – Mesa Arts Center will launch its 2021-22 season with a FREE, family-friendly festival titled WONDERLAND on Friday, Sept. 10 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature live music and entertainment, a scavenger hunt, delicious food from local vendors, the unveiling of new visionary art exhibitions at the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum and more!
