MESA, AZ — The City of Mesa notifies drivers of an upcoming temporary shutdown of Warner Road as part of ongoing reconstruction and paving work being handled by Redpoint.
Affected Area: Warner Road, from about 2,300 feet west of Ellsworth Road to 600 feet west of Ellsworth Road. Businesses in the area will remain accessible.
Timeline: The closure will start at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, and is expected to reopen by 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13.
Closure Details: Warner Road will be completely closed to through traffic for the entire 24-hour period during this schedule. A final paving stage will also require a full closure on Monday, November 24, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Detours will be clearly marked to direct drivers safely around the construction zone.
Detour Routes:
- Westbound drivers: Use Ellsworth Road north or south to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then continue to Sossaman Road.
- Eastbound drivers: Follow Sossaman Road north or south to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then proceed to Ellsworth Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, adhere to posted signage, and exercise caution near the work area. Local access will be maintained wherever possible.
This closure is required to allow Redpoint crews to finish roadway reconstruction and paving improvements, enhancing safety and overall road quality along the Warner Road corridor.
