The city of Mesa has partnered with a company to improve its neighbor-to-neighbor communications on a citywide scale.
The city came to an agreement with Nextdoor – a private social network for neighborhoods – to expand services to 131 neighborhoods across Mesa. The goal is to connect neighbors using the program that’s free for city residents on a more personal level.
“The City of Mesa is very excited to officially partner with Nextdoor,” City Manager Chris Brady said in a press release. “Nextdoor will provide residents with more avenues to easily and effectively connect with us, and each other, about the things that matter most to their communities.”
More information is available by visiting nextdoor.com. An information meeting is scheduled for April 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center, located at 7550 E. Adobe St.
