The data center construction which will be located on Ellsworth Road north of Elliot Road, near the Eastmark community and Mesa-Phoenix Gateway Airport will have available positions for electrical workers, prefabrication warehouse staff, computer modelers, estimators, project managers and office staff as announced Tuesday by Rosendin – electrical contractor.

Ben Mlinar stated in a press release, “Skilled craft workers understand the value of building innovative data center projects which utilize the newest technologies, but we also want to show men and women outside the industry that there are also great paying positions with career advancements in our office.”

The site along the Elliot Road Technology Corridor has already begun construction, and it is anticipated to use solely renewable energy sources.

According to Facebook, once completed, the data center will sustain around 100 jobs and represent an investment of more than $800 million.
