A recent monsoon storm caused damage to the roof of the Power Square Mall which houses Mesa Express Library, 2055 S. Power Road. The damage led to a number of leaks which caused water damage to a portion of the Library collection. As a result, the Mesa Express Library is closed indefinitely while the damage is assessed and repaired.

Library customers can return items to the other Mesa Public Library branches. Items on hold at the Mesa Express Library were among the damaged materials. Other copies will be placed on hold for pick up at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road.

The City Library is accepting donations of children’s books, magazines and DVDs and audio (new or gently used) to replace that portion of the damaged collection. Donations should be made at Red Mountain Library.

For further assistance, please call Mesa Library at (480) 644-3100.
