Independence Day is just around the corner and the East Valley is ready for the party. Celebrate your American independence with food, games, and most importantly fireworks. Here are our top picks for celebrating stars and stripes in the East Valley.

MESA – ARIZONA CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM
Saturday, July 4, 2015
6pm-10:30pm
The 2015 Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Saturday, July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. For the second consecutive year, this free event and the “coolest” independence festival in Arizona will be held at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center St., and along Center Street between Second Street and University Drive.

As always, the Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom will be full of entertainment, classic cars, live music, patriotic displays, family fun, fireworks and much more! The festival will include Revolutionary War reenactments from We Make History, the only reenactment group of its type in the southwestern United States. There will also be a Fallen Heroes Memorial honoring the Arizona fallen heroes from the war on terrorism and much more.

CHANDLER – JULY 4th FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR
Saturday, July 4, 2015
7pm-9:30pm
The City of Chandler invites all East Valley residents to join them for their fireworks show at Tumbleweed Park at the corner of McQueen and Germann, just south of Loop 202. Includes cornhole, volleyball, playgrounds, and food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale.

The fireworks show is a 20-25 minute production. Parking is $5 per vehicle, and the event is free. Parking benefits CPD Explorers and Chandler Fire CERT.

APACHE JUNCTION: 4TH CELEBRATION

6pm-9:30pm
The City of Apache Junction will host their annual Fourth of July Celebration beginning at 6pm at the Apache Junction High School Track Field at 2525 S Ironwood Dr. The event is free.
