Mesa, AZ – Mesa Library Fandom is a new event for all ages to gather and celebrate pop culture including comics, gaming, music, TV and movies. The Fandom event will feature staff-led panels, crafts, vendors and photo opportunities on Thursday, Oct, 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Main Library, 64 E. First St.

Activities and programs include Cosplay 101, origami, superhero mask crafts and a Super Smash Bros tournament. Don’t forget to wear your favorite costume! Vendors will feature local artisans who will be showing and selling a variety of merchandise including prints, candles and 3D printed objects.

A local nonprofit organization, Kids Need to Read, will have book giveaways for kids.
