After the holiday glee, remember to recycle your tree!

The holidays are winding down, and once again the City of Mesa is sponsoring the “Treecycle” program. The Treecycle program offers residents several 24-hour sites throughout the city where they can drop-off their Christmas trees to be recycled.

Don’t trash your trees! The City of Mesa is asking residents to “give the environment a present” by bringing it to one of the city’s recycling sites. Please remove tree stands, plastic wrapping, nails, ornaments, lights and tinsel.
