The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for the following closures along State Route 23 (Gateway Freeway) in Mesa, while crews perform pavement maintenance.
- The westbound SR 24 on-ramp at Ellsworth Road will be closed from 5am Saturday, June 11 to 5pm Sunday, June 12. Drivers traveling west on SR 24 from Williams Field Road must exit at Ellsworth Road.
- Drivers can travel north on Ellsworth Road and access Loop 202 via westbound Elliot Road or by using westbound Ray Road to northbound Hawes Road.
- The Loop 202 on-ramps to eastbound SR 24 will be closed from 5am Saturday, June 18, to 5pm Sunday, June 19.
- Detour: Drivers may exit to eastbound Elliot Road and use southbound Ellsworth Road to access SR 24.
