Did you have a New Years’ Resolution to be more active in 2025? You’ve got lots of opportunities to be a part of team sports with the City of Mesa Parks and Recreation programs.

While many are accustomed to looking at these programs for youth and teens, there are tons of programs for adults as well.

Adult Kickball
It’s not just for the elementary school playground. Men’s, women’s, and co-ed kickball is happening around the valley! Kickball through the City of Mesa program is for ages 18+ and is held at Lehi Sports Park.

Recess for Adults

The program is geared toward adults 18+ at all skill levels. Locations change from week to week, but are always within the City of Mesa.

Park Ranger Fishing Clinic
Come join your park rangers at the Eastmark pond on March 29 from 8am-Noon for a fun day of fishing education and instruction. The rangers will provide the poles, the bait, and the instruction at no cost to you. Fishing license is required ($37 for adults, $5 for ages 10-17, and not required for 9 and under.)

Find a New Hobby
Looking for a new hobby in 2025? You can learn things like Judo, Ice Skating, Chess, Dance, Engineering, Voiceovers, Tai Chi, Archery, and more.

You can check out all of the City’s programs and register by checking out their Playbook.
