Mesa is calling for volunteers for the AT&T Fiber Arizona Celebration of Freedom, renowned as the coolest Independence Day festival in the state.
Multiple volunteer shifts are available, including roles in the splash zone, carnival games, entertainment, and information booths.
Volunteers will receive a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last), along with plenty of snacks and cold drinks during their shift.
They will also be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, or 14 if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Interested individuals can sign up to volunteer.
The AT&T Fiber Arizona Celebration of Freedom will take place on Thursday, July 4, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheatre, located at 263 N. Center St.
This free patriotic event, the largest in Arizona, features live music, a classic car show, BMX stunt riders, a Revolutionary War reenactment, and numerous family-friendly activities.
