Mesa – Arizona Celebration of Freedom.

The 2017 Republic Services Arizona Celebration of Freedom is Tuesday, July 4th from 6PM to 10PM. For the fourth consecutive year, this free event and the “coolest” independence festival in Arizona, will be held at the Mesa Convention Center and Mesa Amphitheater campus, 263 N Center St., along Center street between First street and University drive.

The Arizona Celebration of Freedom includes live music, patriotic displays, a naturalization ceremony, family fun, fireworks and much more! The festival will include Revolutionary War reenactments from We Make History, the only reenactment group of its type in the southwestern United States. There will also be a Fallen Heroes Memorial honoring the Arizona fallen heroes from the war on terrorism and much more.

Remember there is a new way to get there, the light rail now travels thought downtown Mesa! Passengers can exit at the Center & Main street stop and travel north just 2 blocks on Center street to reach the event.

Chandler – July 4th Fireworks Spectacular.

The City of Chandler invites all East Valley residents to join them for their fireworks show at Tumbleweed Park at the corner of McQueen and Germann, just south of Loop 202. They will have live music and activities. The fireworks show is a 20-25 minute production. Parking is $5 per vehicle, and the event is free. Parking benefits CPD Explorers and Chandler Fire CERT.

Apache Junction – 4th of July Fireworks Celebration.

Join the City of AJ Parks & Recreation for their annual Fourth of July Celebration. All festivities take place Tuesday, July 4th. They will be kicking off the day filled events at Superstition Shadows Aquatics Center. Evening events begin at 6PM and are located at Apache Junction High School Track and Field. The fireworks show is presented by Republic Services. Parking is limited so please come early; There will be traffic restrictions so please plan for 20-30 minute delays. The Fourth of July Festivities are all located on school property and no consumer fireworks, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigs, glass containers, pets or weapons will be allowed at the event or adjacent parking/viewing areas. Bags and coolers brought into the event will be checked, food ad drink will be available to purchase on site.

Gilbert – Fourth of July Celebration.

Join friends, family, and neighbors at Higley High School for Gilbert’s annual July 4th Celebration. Event site opens from 6PM-9PM. Fireworks are scheduled to display at 8:30PM. Food trucks will be available to purchase food and beverages. FREE Event, FREE parking!
