 More than 400 athletes from 15 countries will compete in the Desert Challenge Games May 26 to May 30 in Mesa.

The multi-day competition is for people with physical, visual or intellectual disabilities.

They will compete in Air Pistol and Rifle, Archery, Swimming and Track and Field events with the hope of qualifying for Junior Nationals, Adult National Championships, U.S. Veteran Games or the Tokyo Paralympic Games.
