Governor Doug Ducey, Attorney General Mark Brnovich, and State Treasurer Kimberly Yee have approved the annexation of State Trust Land on either side of the Loop 202 near Elliot Road, allowing the City of Mesa to annex 640 acres.

This State Land will be combined with private land owned by several dairy farmers for the proposed Haas Crossing, a planned mixed-use development.

Ducey, Brnovich, and Yee make up the State Selection Board. They made their decision on Wednesday, July 17.
