Local road closures for the August 14-16, 2015 weekend.
Westbound US 60 will be narrowed to one lane only from Apache Junction to Sossaman road from 10pm Friday to 9 am Saturday for pavement marker installation. Westbound 60 from Sossaman to Country Club will be narrowed to one lane Saturday and Sunday nights as well.
The Loop 202, normally a great detour for US 60 construction, will also be impacted this weekend. Between Broadway and Gilbert, the freeway will be closed from 10pm Friday to noon Saturday. The freeway will also be closed between Broadway and Power from noon Saturday to 5am Monday. Both of these closures are due to a widening project.
