A public auction to unload 600 pallets of goods — worth $2 million — from retailers like Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart and Costco is to be held Saturday, July 26, at a Mesa warehouse in preparation for the company’s relocation to Chandler.

BidOnFusion, which operates a 40,000-square-foot warehouse at 1720 W. Broadway Road, Suite 104, will start the bidding at 10:30 a.m. and continue until the entire inventory is sold.

The company is a marketplace for the returned goods and excess inventory from major national retailers and manufacturers. Goods available on Saturday include electronics, toys, clothes, home furnishings, books, tools and equipment from brands like Dyson, Keurig and GE.

Buyers can participate in person at the warehouse or online via the company’s website, bidonfusion.com. Each pallet is considered one lot in the auction.

BidOnFusion CEO Sebastian Baerend said there are millions of customers who typically participate in online-only auctions, but the company wanted to try something different by offering live bidding to local customers.

It’s an opportunity for online resellers, flea-market vendors and anyone who has considered becoming an eBay power seller to build their inventories, Baerend said in a news release.

Local buyers will be competing with online customers while bidding on the 20 truckloads of goods. Successful bidders can pick up the goods at the warehouse for three hours following the auction and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27.

BidOnFusion is preparing to move from its home near Dobson and Broadway roads in Mesa to an 80,000-square-foot warehouse in Chandler.
