The Desert Ridge Boys’ Basketball Team and the Freshman AVID group are doing a shoe fundraiser, with all proceeds going to our Athletic Director, Mr. Lavin, and his family as he goes through his treatments.

We are doing this through a non profit organization that will take the shoes and give them to the less fortunate. We are asking students to bring in gently worn, used or new shoes. Please, no shoes that have holes, soles are coming off, or are excessively worn.

There are boxes in classrooms throughout campus along with the front office, cafeteria and weight room. The fundraiser is ongoing until April 25th.

Thank you for your help for these great causes.
