The Desert Ridge Jaguars are three games into the 2025 Arizona high school football season, and with a new head coach, a young roster, and big goals for the future, the program is building momentum both on and off the field.
In an interview with 85209.com, Head Coach Jeremy Beaman shared his vision for the Jaguars after making the move from Castille High School. Beeman emphasized discipline, growth, and restoring the program’s culture, even as the team works through early-season challenges like injuries and roster depth.
“This is about setting the standard, competing every day, and preparing our guys for success on and off the field,” Beeman said.
Senior leaders are stepping up to guide the team through the transition.
- Gavin Wells, a versatile player contributing at wide receiver, defensive back, and long snapper, spoke about perfecting his craft and embracing multiple roles to help the Jaguars compete.

Despite a tough start, the Jaguars are focused on resilience and teamwork as they prepare for their upcoming matchups. The next big test comes Thursday night, September 18, at home against Mesa High School versus former Desert Ridge High School Football Coach Jeremy Hathcock.
