Luxury Senior living at its finest is coming to southeast Mesa. The new development GrandeVita Senior Living, a Campus-style Community is scheduled to open in January 2019. This new facility will create 326 jobs with an average wage of $45.25 an hour and generate 28.6 million dollars in wages.
GrandeVita has been approved for a 20 acre, multi-use, campus-style senior community at Crismon Road and Hampton Avenue. This is a $200 Million project that Biocity Enterprise by Khangura Development has designed.
The new community will allow seniors to “age in place” in a state-of-the art senior residence and medical campus. The 127 room Residence Inn by Marriott project is the first project to be completed on campus and is scheduled to open in January of 2019.
The campus is nearly 700,000 square feet featuring a resort style feel. GrandeVita’s concept and design will offer independent and assisted living, hotel rooms, multiple dining options, medical offices, a luxury tower and luxury condos, a nursing school and rehab clinic covering over 20 acres.
Biocity Enterprises recognizes that there is a high demand for a high-end, assisted living community like GrandeVita. Once complete, the facility will have a world class resort style feel with spectacular pools, pergolas, fountains, and green roofs. Also, to be included the development will have winding pedestrian walkways and bridges. Mesa senior residents will be offered unique housing opportunities, skilled services and recreational activities.
Mesa Mayor John Giles emphasizes GrandeVita’s positive impact on the City of Mesa. “GrandeVita is an excellent addition to southeast Mesa,” Mayor John Giles said. “Their innovative approach to building a senior community with integrated healthcare, recreation and resort living will change the way we think about aging.”
GrandeVita is located in southeast Mesa, bordered by US 60 Superstition Highway, which makes it convenient to get to other parts of the valley. Located just North from GrandeVita is Mountain Vista Medical Center.
