Construction of an extension of State Route 24 (Gateway Freeway) east of Ellsworth Road in Mesa will require a ramp closure on Saturday Feb. 12, while crews install an overhead sign structure. The work will require the use of heavy equipment in the area.

The westbound SR 24 on-ramp is scheduled to be closed from 5am to 5pm Saturday, Feb 12.

Detour: Drivers can travel north on Ellsworth Road and access Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) via westbound Elliot Road or by using westbound Ray Road to northbound Hawes Road.
