Thanksgiving Food Drive will feed our neighbors in need

There continues to be a need to food in the East Valley, so we will once again be hosting a food drive for the Apache Junction Food Bank Thanksgiving Distribution. Your donations will staying the East Valley, serving families in need here. These could be people living right around the corner from you in Mesquite Canyon or Augusta Ranch homes.

We will be collecting non-perishable food and donations at our offices at 2919 S Ellsworth Rd #133 in Mesa until Thursday, November 19.

A list of much-needed donations are below. We cannot accept baby food, home-made or open items, perishable items, or food with an “expired date.”

While we can’t accept turkeys at our office, the Food Bank at 575 N Idaho Rd #701 in Apache Junction can receive them there as they have ample freezer space! Cash donations are equally as important and can be used to leverage the Apache Junction Food Bank’s buying power. $1 donated provides10lbs of food for needy families!

NEEDED ITEMS
• Canned Corn
• Green Beans
• Cream of Mushroom Soup
• French Fried Onions
• Mixed Fruit
• Turkey Gravy Mix
• Instant Potatoes
• Yams
• Stuffing
• Jell-O Mix
• Mixed Fruit
• Anything else you enjoy serving at Thanksgiving!
