Able broke ground on a new 52,000 square foot facility at the south end of Gateway Airport off Sossaman and Velocity Way.
The company is spending $9 million on the upgraded facilities and is expected to open in June 2019. Upon completion of the project, Able is expecting to hire another 100 employees, bringing their total workforce to over 550 employees.
Able Aerospace Services relocated its headquarters at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in 2013. Since that time, Able has added more than 200 employees and now, after nearly 5 years, they have outgrown their existing headquarters and maintenance facility. This expansion allows Able to enhance the technology used in its repair and overhaul process, and to diversify into new product and services.
