Michael and Shelley Pelky, residents of Mesa, AZ will be featured this December 5th on ABC’s show.
The couple started decorating their home over 24 years ago, but it wasn’t until about 12 years ago that they went “full-blown” on decorations.
What started with icicle lights grew to an amazing home filled with beautiful and colorful Christmas decorations. Shelley told ABC15 “We kind of turned into a snowball hill”.
The couple also tells ABC15 that they have an estimate of over 100,000 lights all over their home and guarantees that their tree alone will have 15,542 lights.
Shelley said, “We did have a goal insight when we started decorating our house. We like to call it a birthday letter to Jesus, without his birth we would have nothing”.
This year’s decorations took them about 2 1/2 months to put together, according to the couple.
