Diversified Partners, a Scottsdale developer, purchased the Links at Queen Creek golf course to be rebuilt into a community of houses and apartments.  The Links at Queen Creek closed on June 1, 2021.

The Queen Creek gold course at Ironwood and Ocotillo roads had been purchased by Diversified on December 1, 2021 for $16.8 million and sold part of it (48 acres) to Tri Pointe Homes for $12.5 million and is planned to be redeveloped into a residential community.

According to Vizzda, Diversified Partners purchased the property through a joint effort between Fortis Development and Cornerstone Realty and Development. In 2018, the proposal included a hotel, 50 acres of single-family homes, apartments units, dining and recreational facilities.

The development project is expected to cost $750 million for a total of 106 acres of property land.
