Scnhepf farms recently sold a 13-acre piece of their land located at the northwest corner of Rittenhouse and Cloud roads.

Developers will build around 150 one-, two-, and three-bedroom single storey rental homes.

Mark Scnepf said “It’s kind of a sad thing to see all of the farmland go away, but it’s not unexpected.” Farming has become less and less profitable in the past few years in Arizona.

He also added “It’s part of Arizona being one of the most popular places in the country to move to and we welcome those new people and hope they have a wonderful life here as they come.”

The neighborhood is currently under development, with leasing expected to begin in late 2022.
